The Northeast Surrey College of Technology is a large further education and higher education college in Epsom and Ewell, Surrey, England that began as Ewell Technical College in the 1950s.

The Requirements

•     Replacement of legacy Cisco ASA firewall with Cisco Next-Gen Firewalls
•     Improve the overall Network and Security portfolio
•     Integration of Active Directory with the Next-Gen firewall for users’ authentication and authorization
•     Adding the new Remote VPN capability for the existing staff and news staff and integration of the Active directory

The Solution

•     Produce the high and level diagram and added the new and updated and existing diagram
•     Suggested and procure the New Next-Gen Firewall
•     Prepare, Plan, and execute the migration activity ensuring no downtime in high available environment
•     Remove the unused rules, prepare stage new Firewall, and migrate to the new one without losing any connection
•     Supported the firewall day to day changes post-migration
