To book your exam, you first need to send us an email at our support address. Once we receive your request, we will send you an email with instructions for profile creation. After your profile is set up, we will proceed with the exam booking on your behalf.

Step 1: Create your Microsoft Profile.

To create a new Microsoft account, follow these steps:

Visit the Microsoft account website.
Click the “Sign in” button.
Next to “No account?”, click “Create one!”.
Enter your email address or create a new one.

Step 2: After creating a profile, or if you already have a Microsoft profile, please provide us with your email and password.

Step 3: Please provide us with your correct Name, it should be the same as your passport or photo ID.

Step 4: Please provide us with all the necessary details.

After submitting your details, we will call you and book your exam according to your selected date and time.

What’s Next?

We assess your knowledge and communication skills in the Pre-recruitment session. We will be helping you build your confidence for the real interview for which communication skills are as important as the knowledge that you have.

Step 1: Preparation for Pre-recruitment session

Please log in to the LMS Portal using your email ID. You can access the portal via this link: https://fortray.learnworlds.com/. Once logged in, you will find the learning material for pre-recruitment in your LMS account under the course titled "Microsoft Boot Camp" specifically in Section 10. It includes:

Interview Questions: These present technical questions specifically related to MD 100 and MD 102 courses. These questions aim to assess your knowledge.
Recruitment workshop: It focuses on ITSM, ITIL, and related topics, including Jira proficiency. Candidates will face targeted questions and assessments, ensuring a concise evaluation of their readiness for IT roles.
IT Helpdesk case studies: These scenario questions are real-life situations you will be facing in IT support roles. These assessments aim to evaluate your problem-solving abilities and proficiency in implementing effective solutions within the IT domain.

Note: We suggest you go through it twice at least, take notes and do your research. This will help you to crack your interview 1st time.

Step 2: Book your Pre-recruitment session

Once you go through all the above and complete your learning, please share your availability and we will book your 1 on 1 session accordingly.

Step 3: Complete the Pre-recruitment Session

Upon successful completion of the Pre-recruitment session, your details will be passed on to our Recruitment Specialist team who will help you get the job.

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't pass your first attempt at the MD-102 exam. To support you in your preparation for the retake, we will first arrange an exam review meeting with one of our trainers. This will help identify areas for improvement and ensure you're better prepared for your next attempt.

Important Note:

As per Microsoft's new policy, if a student fails the MD-102 exam, they must wait a minimum of 14 days before they can book their next attempt. Unfortunately, it is not possible to schedule a retake before this waiting period has passed.

Once the 14-day waiting period is over, we can proceed with rebooking your exam. As per our company's policy, your first exam voucher is free, but for the second voucher, there is a fee of £135 (including VAT).

To book an online exam, please follow these steps:

To begin the exam booking process, please send us an email at support@fortray.com. We will guide you through the next steps, including profile creation and exam scheduling.
Check the Distance to the Exam Center:
As per our company's policy, if the exam center is within 30 miles of your location, you are required to take the exam at the center. If the center is further than 30 miles away, you may take the exam online. If eligible for an online exam, please review the instructions below.
Online Exam Instructions:
- Before Exam Day:
  - Test Your System: Use the same computer, testing space, and internet connection that you plan to use on exam day. Avoid taking the exam in a setting with a corporate firewall or VPN. We recommend using a personal computer with a webcam for better compatibility.
  - Internet Connection: Ensure you have a reliable and fast internet connection.
  - Acceptable ID: Prepare a valid, unexpired government-issued ID with a signature and photo. Ensure the name on the ID matches your registration name exactly. Acceptable IDs include a passport, driver's license, or national ID card.
  - Prepare Your Testing Space: Find a quiet, well-lit space with no distractions. You will be required to take photos of your testing space during check-in. Ensure that your desk is clear, and you can only use one monitor.
- On Exam Day:
  - Log In Early: Log into your account 30 minutes early to start the check-in process.
  - Check-In Process: Follow the prompts on your confirmation or reminder email to check in and complete the required steps before starting the exam.
- Exam Rules:
  - No unauthorized materials (e.g., mobile devices, watches) are allowed during the exam.
  - No one else should appear on the webcam or be heard during the exam.
  - No speaking aloud during the exam.
- Reschedule Policy: If you need to reschedule your appointment, please do so no later than 24 hours before your scheduled exam. Failing to reschedule within this timeframe may result in forfeiting your exam fee.
- Cancellation Policy: Similarly, if you need to cancel your appointment, ensure you do it no later than 24 hours before the scheduled exam to avoid any charges.
System Check:
Please ensure you check your system at least two days before your exam. We will not be responsible for any issues encountered on exam day. Additionally, if you face any problems during the exam, we will not be able to assist, as it is a proctored examination. Any attempt to contact us during the exam will result in its cancellation.

Yes, you can reschedule your exam by yourself. You should have received a confirmation email for your scheduled appointment. In this email, there is a link provided. Click on this link, log in to your profile, and enter your details to reschedule your exam.

If you face any issues or prefer assistance, please send us an email at least 24 hours before your scheduled exam, and we will reschedule it for you.

The exam schedule is determined based on the availability of exam slots and your preferred timing. If you find yourself unprepared, facing an emergency, unable to take leave on the exam day, or feeling unwell, you can reschedule your exam under these circumstances.

To reschedule, please notify us as soon as possible and provide the reason for rescheduling. If you need to reschedule due to any of the mentioned issues, make sure to inform us at least 24 hours before your scheduled exam to avoid any penalties or forfeiture of your exam fee.

Yes. We have added 5 minutes to our exams to allow for unscheduled breaks that do not need to be requested.

You will be required to present one form of original (no photocopies), valid (unexpired) government-issued ID that includes your name, photograph, and signature. The first and last name that you used to register must match exactly the first and last name on the ID that is presented on test day. All IDs required must be issued by the country in which you are testing. If you do not have the qualifying ID issued from the country you are testing in, an International Travel Passport from your country of citizenship is required.

You will not be allowed to take any personal items with you into the testing room. This includes all bags or purses, books, notes, personal computers or devices, cell phones, pagers, watches, and wallets.

On exam day:

This allows optimal preparedness but does not guarantee an early admittance or start time.
If you are more than 15 minutes late after your scheduled exam time, you will be unable to begin your exam and you are unlikely to receive a refund.

To check into your exam:

Select Check-in to start the exam on your confirmation email.
View your upcoming appointment.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the check-in process.
You will need to complete check-in before you can start your exam.

Exam rules during testing:

You may not access unauthorized materials, i.e., mobile devices, watches, and anything not allowed by the test sponsor.
No one else should appear through the webcam during the exam and no one else's voice should be heard.
No speaking aloud during the exam.

After this period, to maintain your certification status, you will need to either pass a recertification exam or achieve a more advanced certification.
